In Home OT

At ATP we follow a developmental model and value providing therapy services in a child's natural environment. This can include anything from a child's home or daycare to the local playground, library, etc. We work closely with families to identify specific goals and provide eduation to best meet your child's needs.

We provide services in Seacoast NH, including most of Rockingham County. An example of towns in our travel area include:

Specialty Experience

Infants and Toddlers: In collaboration with or as an alternative to Early Intervention, we love to help our little ones work to reach their early childhood milestons.

3 Year Transition: There is an option for in home services after Early Intervention! If you are kiddo is turning three and you don't want to loose that in home support- we're here for you.

Multiple Disabilities: We work with your medically complex child to provide appropriate services by coordinating with their care team. We frequently utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment to help each child reach their true potential.

Collaborating with your child's Vision Specialist: Our staff has specific training from several local vision specialists/therapists, allowing continuity and coordination of care to otpimize your child's success.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Pediatric occupational therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults. Physical impairment, injuries and a developmental disabilities child's.impact a child's ability to perform necessary tasks or progress through the stages of typical development. Occupational therapists work with children and their families to identify goals and provide therapuetic intervention to help children overcome these barriers.
