Our Team
Allie founded Adaptive Pediatric Therapy in early 2019 after working in Early Intervention and pediatric outpatient clinics. Her goal was to combine her favorite aspect from her previous jobs, and she really wanted to be able to provide in home and community based services for children of all ages and disabilities. She has a passion for building relationships with children and their families, and values a collaborative approach that helps kiddos progress towards their goals. In her personal time she is a dog momma to two chocolate lab adventure pups and enjoys spending her weekends hiking in the White Mountains, enjoying lake time on Winnipesaukee and taking advantage of the NH Seacoast!
Ellen is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Prior to her OT education, Ellen worked as a Recreational Therapist, spent time at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in San Diego, CA in an inpatient rehabilitation, pediatric and behavioral health setting. Ellen then began her career with Easterseals in the Senior Services department as a Program Specialist. As an occupational therapy student, Ellen gained experience working in an inpatient acute setting, outpatient and pediatric settings. Her pediatric setting with Adaptive Pediatric Therapy led to her passion of working with children and their families and we are excited to have her as a part of our APT team! Ellen loves being in a child’s natural environment and getting to know their strengths, interests and areas for growth.
Rylee graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She volunteered in Honduras and Panama empowering under-resourced communities to address health and economic disparities, worked at a child development center, and interned with an occupational therapist at a private school for children with disabilities. The following year, she worked as a rehabilitation aid in an inpatient rehab facility, which helped define her future career choice as an occupational therapist. Rylee graduated from the University of New England in 2020 with her Masters in Occupational Therapy, and gained experience working in acute care, outpatient, NICU, and inpatient pediatric rehabilitation. She also conducted research that studied the effects of a transdisciplinary toddler playgroup, and had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Morocco for two weeks with her classmates to provide service-learning work and promote the profession of OT. Rylee is passionate about making a significant lasting impact on the lives of each child and their family by developing strong relationships, identifying barriers that may be hindering a child’s abilities, and instilling skills to guide them to their full potential. In her free time, you can find her cooking delicious new recipes, relaxing at the Seacoast beaches, boating on the lake or skiing the mountain in her hometown of Sunapee, running, mountain biking, hiking, or doing just about anything that involves being outside with family and friends!
